The Alliance Against Seclusion and Restraint is a national nonprofit that has resources for both parents and schools to prevent seclusion and restraint.
I represent public school and university students in all aspects of education law, guiding families through eligibility determinations, IEP development and placement decisions, and ensuring access to appropriate services and accommodations under IDEA, Section 504, and the ADA. My practice includes handling disputes over evaluations, program implementation, discipline, and transition planning, as well as pursuing compensatory education and reimbursement where a student has been denied a free appropriate public education, FAPE. I advocate in negotiations, mediation, and due process hearings, with a focus on resolving matters efficiently while preserving my clients’ rights and educational outcomes.

Services focus on authentic communication, workplace and social communication, self-advocacy, AAC, communication confidence, and practical, real-world support within relationships, employment, school, and daily life.
Intentions provides virtual caregiver education sessions, ongoing safety planning and prevention support, counseling and therapeutic services and school district behavior consultation and support.
