Support for Schools

At the Autism Society of Wisconsin, we understand that many families turn to their local school districts for guidance and support. We’re proud to offer a range of training options for schools that are seeking to deepen their understanding of Autism and learn effective strategies for supporting Autistic students.

On-Demand Training

Bring Autism education to your entire school team with flexible, self-paced training videos. Our Supporting Students with Autism curriculum helps staff build practical skills and confidence to support Autistic students in the classroom and beyond.

In-Service Training

Schools seeking more personalized support can request in-service training tailored to their specific needs. These sessions cover a variety of topics and can be delivered to all staff members or targeted groups, providing flexible, relevant professional development.

Supporting Students with Autism

This full-day summer training provides attendees with a deeper understanding of Autism, along with practical strategies to support Autistic students in the school environment. Designed for teachers and educational assistants, this training focuses on building meaningful relationships and creating supportive learning environments.

How do we do it in a way that benefits ALL students? Is there a way to plan lessons, respond to needs, and feel less overwhelmed? Yes!
